How accurate is the online price?
The estimator uses the same steel pricing we run for real quotes, plus our actual concrete and erection costs, so it's a realistic range. Your firm quote confirms the price for your exact site, including the wind, snow, rain and earthquake loads for your ZIP code.
What's included in the price?
The engineered steel building with stamped drawings, 26 gauge R-panel roof and walls, insulation, trim, the doors and windows you choose, a foundation plan, anchor bolts, a reinforced concrete slab, and full erection with all equipment.
What isn't included?
Site clearing and grading, permits and permit fees, utilities, interior finishes, gutters and sales tax. We'll talk through all of these at your site visit.
Do you build barndominium interiors?
Our price covers the steel building, slab and erection: the strong, weather-tight shell. Interior build-out like framing, plumbing and electrical is separate. Ask us about it when you request your quote.
Do I need a permit?
Most counties require one. We provide engineered, stamped drawings for your permit application. Permit fees are paid to your county and aren't included in our price.
What does my site need?
A level, compacted building pad that trucks and a lift can reach. We check access and the pad at your site visit and tell you exactly what's needed.
How long does it take?
Most buildings are finished about 7–10 weeks after your site visit: drawings take 4–5 weeks, the slab 1–2 weeks and the building 2–3 weeks, depending on weather and permits.
