How accurate is the online price?
The estimator uses the same steel pricing we run for real quotes, plus our actual concrete and erection costs, so it's a realistic range. Your firm quote confirms the price for your exact site, including the wind, snow, rain and earthquake loads for your ZIP code.
What's included in the price?
The engineered steel building with stamped drawings, 26 gauge R-panel roof and walls, insulation, trim, the doors and windows you choose, gutters and downspouts, anchor bolts, a reinforced concrete slab, and full erection with all equipment. If your county requires a foundation plan, we add it as a separate line.
What isn't included?
Site clearing and grading, permits and permit fees, utilities, interior finishes and sales tax. We'll talk through all of these at your site visit.
Do you build barndominium interiors?
Our price covers the steel building, slab and erection: the strong, weather-tight shell. Interior build-out like framing, plumbing and electrical is separate. Ask us about it when you request your quote.
Do I need a permit?
Most counties require one. We provide engineered, stamped drawings for your permit application. Permit fees are paid to your county and aren't included in our price.
What does my site need?
A level, compacted building pad that trucks and a lift can reach. We check access and the pad at your site visit and tell you exactly what's needed.
How long does it take?
Your plans are ready in weeks 4–5 after your start date and your building is delivered around weeks 10–12. The slab is poured before delivery and our crews install it after. Weather (especially winter) and permits can move dates.
